Essential Supplies

It's been over 6 months since I ate Tim Tams. I finally caved and whilst on route to Kent for the weekend, I stopped off at the Australia Shop in Covent Garden and picked up some things I've missed. There's an interesting range of stuff at the store. Strangely enough, there seems to be a fair amount of demand for Australian tomato sauces, but I don't really think that the British version tastes any different. For obvious reasons, everything there is fairly expensive so I limited my purchases. But I could really have gone for some Iced Vovos.

Jamie's Italian

Chain restaurants are widespread throughout England and are generally much nicer than chain restaurants in Australia. Jamie Oliver's Italian restaurants are all over the place. They don't take reservations and there's regularly a queue outside, so this week was the first time I'd eaten there. I'll definitely be back. The prices were reasonable and the food was amazing. It was one of those restaurants where I really wanted to try everything on the menu. I know Sam will want a much more detailed review, but I don't know enough about food to do it with any credibility. I'll leave it at: Jamie's Italian = Nom Nom Nom.
