Day 1 consisted of American diner style breakfast with unlimited coffee refills. A walk up 1st Av to the United Nations. Then Grand Central Station, Times Square, Rockefeller Center and part of Central Park. Subway south, and a walk through Greenwich Village and the East Village.
The city is amazing. It doesn't disappoint. But it does surprise. I don't know if it's because yesterday was a Saturday and whether it'll be different on Monday, but it was so calm, so chilled, even when it was super busy.
